I have had the privilege of teaching in BHUSD since 1996.  I earned my B.A. in education at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. I continued my studies at Wheelock College of Education at Boston University where I earned an M.S. in elementary education. Since then, I have enrolled in many courses of interest including poetry, singing, and Spanish. I enjoy learning so I went on to earn a CLAD certificate (crosscultural, language and academic development), a GATE certificate (gifted and talented education), and most recently I earned National Board Certification for Teachers (NBCT). I consider myself a life-long learner and my goal is to share my love of learning with colleagues and students. I believe that school should be a place where children discover that they possess the ability to find the answers to all of their big questions.
