I am Elizabeth Smith.  I began teaching in 1988, and have been teaching in Beverly Hills since 1999.  I am so happy to be in TK!! This is by far the best grade to teach! Please make sure to read about TK on the front page of the ER Web site. Click on the link for the TK orientation- there is a lot of information for you, and areas for you to complete tasks/sign up for appointments.  You can find Back to School info, Supply Lists and a schedule on the slide deck found on the front page of the website!
 
 
I am a wife and mom of two boys, aged 20 and 16, who also went to the Beverly Hills Schools for elementary and Middle School.  My oldest is in his third year of college and my second is a Junior in high school. When I am not busy with my family, I love to read, go to the beach, crochet and laugh with my friends.  
 
I grew up...well, all over!  I spent a lot of time in Ohio, and claim Cleveland, Ohio as "home."  I went to college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio prior to making my way out to Sunny California to begin my teaching career while furthering my education.  I am so excited to be part of this new and exciting updated Universal Transitional Kindergarten.  It is so awesome to have a team of colleagues to plan and teach with.  Welcome to ER and our program.   Looking forward to meeting you and having a great year watching your child grow and learn!
