Marianna Zacher - Special Education 2nd - 5th Grade

Hello! My name is Marianna Zacher, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Hawthorne family. I am an L.A. native and love my city. I graduated from UCLA in 2007 with BAs in History and Political Science. In 2015 I earned a single subject teaching credential in secondary social studies. After teaching U.S. History and Sociology at Burbank High School, I decided to earn my credential in K-12 multi-subject special education. Over the last 7 years I have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 6-12 in all core subject areas. I am passionate in my mission as I continue to fine tune my practice in helping students with exceptionalities reach their full potential. Joining Hawthorne Elementary in the 2022-2023 school year is an exceptional honor and I look forward to working with students and their families. 

 

Personally, I am happily married with an 8 year old son. My family enjoys traveling and visiting the many fun places to see in southern California.
