Ms. Kaufman, 5th Grade

Welcome to Fifth Grade!

My name is Bella Kaufman and I began teaching at Hawthorne in 2021. I am so excited to be back and teach fifth grade again!

I am originally from Orange County and received my Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Barbara, so I love being by the beach and watching sunsets. I also recently received my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Teaching from UC Irvine. 

Watching students’ progress and growth throughout the school year is truly rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help students become lifelong learners. I look forward to a year of learning, fun, and special 5th grade memories!
