Mrs. Ash, Physical Education

Hello, I am Mrs. Ash. I have been a physical education teacher in Beverly Hills Unified School District since 2003. In that time, I have taught middle school and elementary at Beverly Vista and Hawthorne. As an elementary P.E. teacher, I guide young students on developing fundamental skills in body movement and the basics in sports and fitness. I also hope to inspire in young people a love for staying healthy and active throughout their life.

My passion for sports and fitness, combined with an early love for teaching, led me to obtain my Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge and a Master’s in Education from Pepperdine University.

Born in the small Caribbean island of Trinidad and raised in Canada, I grew up playing a variety of sports from basketball and track and field, to ringette and speed skating. I continue to enjoy running to this day.
